Although this cottage is spacious it still retains a cosy rustic charm with a liberal peppering of original beams and exposed slate walls. To take advantage of the spectacular views over Loughrigg to the Old Man of Coniston, the living room and kitchen areas are upstairs. Off the large entrance hall there is a very spacious double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The stairs lead up to the bright and airy lounge, which features solid pine flooring, a slate fire place and exposed stone walls. Freesat TV and a wireless internet connection are provided for your convenience, along with a DVD player and CD stereo. The kitchen and dining area has been handbuilt by local craftsmen out of old pine, and is equipped with all the facilities you would expect to find in a modern kitchen, including a dishwasher. To the rear of the cottages there is a secluded garden with fantastic views to Wansfell Pike, which dominates the skyline. The garden has seating and a BBQ area. Grove corner is ideal for couples and small families who like to ‘spread out’ whilst on holiday.
