This is our larger cottage finished in 1997. It is at the end of the stone barn with all the wealth of original timbers and exposed stone preserved for you to enjoy and although large, has central heating throughout to keep it lovely, warm and welcoming.

Taking advantage of its position the bedrooms and shower room are on the ground floor, the lounge, dining and kitchen are on the first floor. The loft above lounge is for quiet contemplation and also to sleep two people on comfortable bed settee, if required. The front door leads into flag floored cloakroom with steps up to inner hall, off which are one double and one twin-bedded room, both with lots of character and pine furniture. The pretty shower room is a good size with a Victorian theme.

It has toilet, wash basin, large shower, shave point and hairdryer. A pine staircase leads up to a large well-equipped quality kitchen with electric fan assisted oven and hob, large fridge, microwave, toaster, iron and cafetiere. The dining area is spacious with large pine table for relaxed holiday meals. The lounge has absolutely magnificent views, with a lovely window seat to view the Langdales and surrounding hills. Sky television and video, plenty of books and games are on hand to enjoy curled up in the large comfy settees.

The cottage also has freezer, dishwasher, stereo, telephone and washing service if required. All to make your stay at The Grove more relaxing so that you can enjoy the Lakes.
