This little gem was created in 1994, on the upper level of our Lakeland stone barn. A wealth of lovely Cumbrian slate and original timbers keep a country atmosphere in this cosy cottage for two. From your lovely garden area with bench seating and picnic table outside the lounge window you can sit in the quietness, looking up to Wansfell over the peaceful fields or watch the stars in the evening in the clear mountain air. (The record is 16 shooting stars and 22 satellites!). These lovely views can be seen from the comfort of your armchair in the cosy lounge which has colour television, books to read and lots of information for you to plan your holiday - that is if you want to leave this quiet little cottage which is ideal for a country holiday in the Lakes.
Stairs lead up from small hall to lounge and galleried kitchen with dining table and chairs in old pine. The kitchen is well equipped with hob and electric fan assisted oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, cafetiere and drying room, ironing facilities, freezer, washer and telephone are all near by.
